Damier was the leading Louis Vuitton pattern in 2013. Continuing the geometric spirit of Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2013 fashion show, during Fall-Winter 2013 Collection Speedy 30 in Damier canvas was reinterpreted as Damier Paillettes. Intricately embroidered with 3 layers of color sequins with matching colored calf leather trimmings, this bag is a sophisticated, glamorous accessory for both day and night.
That was the last limited edition Speedy designed by Marc Jacobs. The SpringSummer 2014 Collection became his last collection at Louis Vuitton. The FallWinter 2014 Collection was developed by a new creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière.
