For Fall/Winter 2011/2012, Marc Jacobs created a controversial line that played with Fashion and Fetish. Because of the strict and rigid nature, the ever-popular and iconic Lockit was chosen to be the focus of this line. Playing with ideas of S&M and all things exotic, bags were created out of unusual materials and textures with hardware detailing and often - handcuffs. The Addiction Lockit Vertical MM is created from with synthetic rubber to create a sweet and smooth touch that almost mimics leather. The bag is embroidered with lam_ threads to create the Monogram pattern, providing a stunning contrast against its matte blue finish. Retail price is $2970.
This bag is incredibly soft. The material is very durable.
Leather: very small scuffs and scratches on the bag. There is a loose stitch on one of the elements and a small scuff on the handle.
