Created by Marc Jacobs for the '07 runway collection, the Fersen is named after the character from the film Marie Antoinette (a smaller bag named the Kirsten was named after the Hollywood star from the same film). Named after Marie-Antoinette's lover, Count Axel de Fersen, the bag is subtly adorned with 18th century-style lace overlaying the iconic monogram canvas pattern.
