Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis vs Neonoe: Side-by-Side Comparison (lots of pics!)
Pochette Metis and NeoNeo are two of the top-selling Louis Vuitton bags.
Louis Vuitton NeoNoe is a great companion for every day. Can you imagine a bag so lightweight that you almost can't feel it on your shoulder at all? That's NeoNoe in Epi. If you've never seen this bag in person go to the Louis Vuitton store and try it. It's so popular for a reason.
At the same time, Pochette Metis has been the most coveted Louis Vuitton bag in recent years
A lot of people are interested in a side-by-side comparison of the two bags. One thing is to see the dimensions and another thing is to see a side-by-side comparison. I happen to have both bags so if you want to choose which one to get, this article is for you.
Measurements
Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis measurements: L 9.8" x H 7.5" x W 2.8"
Louis Vuitton NeoNoe measurements: L 10.2" x H 10.2" x W 6.9"
Overview
While the length seems almost identical, the Louis Vuitton NeoNoe is taller. It's also a little wider than Pochette Metis.
Though at first these bags seemed quite similar in size, this picture clearly shows that NeoNoe is twice as wide as Pochette Metis. It holds much more stuff.
Louis Vuitton NeoNoe has two identical compartments and one zipped pocket. Looks quite nice but I didn't figure out the best way to organize my stuff across these compartments.
Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis has 3 compartments and one zipped pocket on the back that I use most of the time for my smartphone. I love the fact that you don't have to open the purse to answer a call.
While NeoNoe is more spacious, its opening is a little narrow. I'd prefer that it was either the same size as its bottom or wider than the bottom (like a Neverfull). The Pochette Metis opening is perfect for my needs as I usually carry a notebook, car keys, documents, a smartphone, and a pen.

If you ever wondered is a NeoNoe can hold A4 paper, it can't unless you can fold it.
Strap length
Last but not least. Which strap is longer?
I extended them to the maximum. Pochette Metis strap is a little longer, about 3 inches.
