On June 15, 2021, Louis Vuitton showed the world its new Cruise 2022 collection. Various models of clothing and accessories were presented. The location of the show was one of the most impressive architectural projects in Paris, created by the Israeli artist and environmentalist Dani Karavan – the Axe Majeur monumental sculpture park. This is a huge sculptural ensemble with a length of more than three kilometers, the construction of which lasted for almost 30 years. The futuristic style of the park resonates with the message of the entire collection by the creative director of Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquiere and his team.
What is Louis Vuitton Cruise 2022?
The love of science fiction, space and dystopian fashion fantasies inspired the designer to create such a cosmic collection. The meaning of it lies in the idea of future flights of humans into space.
The designers present prints of alien landscapes depicting planets in combination with vintage painting on fabrics. Trousers and skirts resemble parts of spacesuits, dresses look like a parachute dome from a space module, elongated bombers have acquired cocoon-like silhouettes, and vinyl is also introduced everywhere as a convenient and practical material.
By the way, the show aired live on the Louis Vuitton Instagram page to highlight once again that the fashion house keeps up with the times.

At the show, it was impossible not to notice the trendy accessories – bags and boots. And if the latter resemble intergalactic colorful cowboy boots, then the variety of models of handbags turn heads.

This is a new slouchy silhouette, again with a new variation of the Since 1854 print. The bag is soft, comfortable and roomy. The buckle strap makes it light and carefree.
This bag, by the way, can be worn as a crossbody. The colors of the leather trims of this new silhouette vary from pastel blue to yellow.
